Okay, so Adela's parents? The Faeries are supposed to be about two feet shorter than the elves, or something like that the details are a little fuzzy. Adela's father is a faerie, her mother is an elf. See the problem? No?
Neither did I (for the past three years) till now : it doesn't make sense in a world where aesthetic appearance and social status are major attracting forces. I.e., why would a six foot tall elf female be attracted to a four-ish foot tall faerie male? Anyone out there willing able to help me figure this out?
